KOCHI, India – Kerala Travel Mart 2012, the seventh edition of the buyer-seller meet in tourism trade, would be held from September 27 to 30.
Around 500 foreign delegates and 1500 domestic delegates would participate in the Kerala Travel Mart, Tourism Minister A P Anilkumar told reporters here.
Delegates from 48 countries are participating in the Kerala Travel Mart. UK, Germany, France, Malaysia etc are some of the countries that are participating in the event.
In the B2B meets, over 2196 buyers will interact with 416 sellers. The appointments between sellers and buyers have been fixed online. In the first Travel Mart in 2000, there were 150 sellers and 350 buyers.
Kerala Travel Mart is being organized by the tourism industry in partnership with the Government. The event will be inaugurated by the chief minister of the state Oommen Chandy on September 27.
