On its 89th birthday, Skal International-Leaders met to discuss transforming tourism, and the future of this industry.

SKAL International Executive Board and International SKAL Councilors met in Malaga for their mid-year meeting, discussing the organization’s plans. 

The meeting also featured virtual participation through Zoom from several Councilors and Past presidents who could not attend in person.

World President Juan Steta reviewed the current changes the organization is implementing with the new governance structure approved last year and how the next steps will be introduced and implemented in the coming months. 

“Exciting changes are in the works – offering leaders of our industry an opportunity to expand their business network all under the spirit of friendship instilled by our founders,” said Steta during the 3-day sessions.

Am Abrëll 28th, during the days of the meeting, SKAL International celebrated its 89th birthday – a strong statement complimenting the sustainable bonds and results of this organization. 

Messages from all members of the executive board were sent honoring this special occasion.
